This reminds me of one of my favourite quotes from G.K. Chesterton: “Fairytales don’t tell children that dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairytales tell children that dragons can be killed.”
This is Something Important.
After a brief encounter with a different economic reality this weekend, I realize that life as a single, under-employed parent must be phenomenally heartbreaking, frustrating, and stressful.
